About Hana Rakhshani
Hana is a professional movement artist and facilitator currently living in Asheville, NC. She has been holding containers for somatic exploration since 2017 and has been involved with keeping the movement community rich in her area.
In her teaching, she weaves together: anatomy in dynamic motion, partnering technique, attention based practices, improvisational frameworks, expressive arts therapy and adaptability based training methodologies.
To her, dance and embodiment based practices offer fertile ground for revolution. Hana’s passion involves holding containers where people walk away having met themselves more fully, seen their own embodied patterns, and have explored new pathways of movement and relating that can be applicable to dance as well as their lives at large.
